There is a large area around the cabin that is fenced and contains many ornamental shrubs and fruit trees. It is very over grown now but could be revived to its former glory with some work with a weed eater. A portion of the creek is included in the fenced area. There are numerous out buildings including the garden cottage that was a summer house for guests. It has some fine examples of wood butcher art. The roof needs replacing but it would be worth saving this quaint little building.
